Assistant Accountant

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join their team for a contract position based in South / West County Dublin

This is a varied role where you will be the main contact for AP/AR. You will be able to carry out the below list of tasks and have previous experience of doing same.

Invoicing, Accounts Payable / Receivable
Lodgements / Payments , Creditor / Debtor ledger management
Monthly payroll management and year-end payroll processing
Quarterly gathering of sales data from Suppliers and reporting on same
VAT & Revenue returns
Cash flow management and forecasting
Quarterly management accounts
Preparation of year-end accounts and audits, working with our external auditor
Day to day accounting processes;
Bank Reconciliations
Processing of quarterly Supplier LTA charges
Processing of quarterly Store Rebates.
Any other ad hoc duties that may arise


Skills:
IATI qualified or Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel, Work & PowerPoint)
Proactive attitude to all areas of work
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of computerised accounting packages a must
