Job Overview
My client is a leading farm machinery distributor in the Kildare area , currently we are recruiting for a Workshop Agricultural Technician. You will get the opportunity to work on a broad range of farm machinery including tractors and a vast array of grassland machinery.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 6pm. The ideal candidate will be qualified with 1-2 years' experience. This role will suit someone living in the North Kildare / South Meath region. Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for the following duties .
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment.
- Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field when required. This role will be primarily based in the Workshop.
- Organise pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment.
- Completes all reports and administration required for work assignments.
- Carry out mechanical , electrical & hydraulic fault finding.
Experience required.
- Qualified Agricultural Technician.
- 2-3 years previous experience
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work.
- Good PC & IT Skills
