Admin - Bookings

Job Overview

FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting an Admin for a 6 months temporary role based in Dublin 9.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter bookings to Hospital System (PIMS) using correct medical terminology to ensure theatre schedule is available for review by theatre staff.
  • Update relevant In-Patient/Day Case Ledger taking note of insurance cover and accommodation and alerting bed manager / secretaries to variances.
  • Contact incoming patients and book them in for a Covid test.
  • Record all transactions on the system.
  • To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.

About you:

  • Available immediately;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable;
  • Experienced with taking high-volume calls;
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
  • Flexibility and good organisational ability;
  • Excellent keyboard skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working hours: 8.30AM - 5PM.
