Job Overview

This position is a fixed term contract position based in Dublin

Role & Responsibility

  • Day to day accounting processes
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts Payable / Receivable
  • Lodgements / Payments
  • Creditor / Debtor ledger management
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT & Revenue returns
  • Cash flow management and forecastin
  • Quarterly management accounts
  • Preparation of year end accounts and audits, working with our external auditorMonthly payroll management and year end payroll processing (incl. all Revenue reporting)
  • Quarterly gathering of sales data from Suppliers and reporting on sa
  • Processing of quarterly Supplier LTA charges
  • Processing of quarterly Store Rebates.
  • Overseeing of general office function
  • Organising events / meetings, general administration duties
  • Any other ad hoc duties that may arise

Skills /Requirements

The role is best suited to a person who is IATI and IPASS qualified and or working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA , CIMA etc.).

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes / skills:

  • Proactive attitude to all areas of work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in a standalone role while working as part of a broader team is essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of computerised accounting packages a must
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel, Work & PowerPoint)

** This is a fixed term position with interviews taking place next week with a view to start by the end of the month **
