Our client, one of Mullingar's most well-established practices, is now seeking to hire a skilled Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role is offered as on-site.
Your new role:
You will be responsible for providing accounting and financial support to the company. This position offers a great variety of responsibilities and tasks. In addition, due to the nature of the company and its exciting phase of growth, a desire to be part of the development would be beneficial.
Your new responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate accounting records for the department
Prepare and process financial documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and bank recons, VAT recons, PAYE, sales ledgers, etc.
Reconcile accounts and financial statements
Generate reports to support decision making
Adhere to established accounting principles and procedures
Provide administrative support to the team
What you will bring to the role:
Accounting Technician, Bookkeeper or a Part-Qualified qualification
1-2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of accounting software and financial systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
