Accounts Assistant

Job Overview

Our client based in Kilkenny City are currently seeking to recruit an accounts assistant to join their team.
Main duties to include.

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Assist in the monthly reconciliation of creditors ledger to supplier statements.
  • Identify & resolve any issues with supplier invoices
  • Preparing Lodgements
  • Looking after the Debtors ledger, issuing statements, reconciling monthly
  • Assisting in processing of information for payroll
  • Providing ad hoc support to accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounts experience essential with accounting qualifications an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail,
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work on own initiative to a high standard and relishes working within a small team
  • Strong Excel skills with Sage 50/Sage Micropay an advantage
  • Administrative tasks and duties inclusive of day to day and ad hoc tasks
