Job Overview

FRS Recruitment have a exciting opportunity for a Accounts Assistant to join our client in Shannon Co Clare. This is a full time, permanent position where you will be a key part of the local Finance team. This role offers a hybrid model of working from home.You will be working closely with the Financial Manager and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.

What will you be doing?

* Payroll processing of both monthly salaries and weekly pay runs
* Management of ROS reporting & relevant payroll deduction payments & reporting
* Year-end payroll reporting & reconciliation
* BIK calculation and application
* Credit control and allocation of customer payments
* Bank reconciliations
* System price book management
* Monthly intrastat reporting & reconciliation
* Management of shared services processing - day to day contact of same
* Monthly journal processing
* Other ad-hoc tasks

Skills and Experience:

* Accounting Technician qualified/Part Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
* Ideally the candidate will have knowledge of payroll
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing work of a high standard
* Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment
* Ability to engage in teamwork and prioritise workload effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of ERP and Lean Systems
* Actively supports Continuous Improvement initiatives within the company
