Accounts Assistant

Job Overview

Due to our clients expansion we are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a full time, permanent office based role in Mullingar Co Westmeath.

The successful candidate will support the finance and administration function within a well established accounts team.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

As part of the Finance and Administration team deliver timely, accurate & insightful management information to facilitate decision making namely:

Support the accounts department work.
Assist with accounts and financial reporting
Support accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with imports and Exports administration
General administration support
Liaise with key external stakeholders including Revenue, banks etc.

The Candidate:

Previous experience in a accounts department
2 - 5 Years as accounts assistant or accounts administrator
A self-starter, enjoys deadlines and a busy office based role, strives for efficiency & accuracy
Strong communication skills, IT & people management skills
The candidate should ideally should have a knowledge of Sage 50,and Microsoft Office
