Accounts Assistant

Job Overview

Due to our clients expansion we are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.This is a full time,permanent office based role in Mullingar Co Westmeath.

The successful candidate will support the finance and administration function within a well established accounts team.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

As part of the Finance and Administration team deliver timely, accurate & insightful management information to facilitate decision making namely:

  • Support the accounts department work.
  • Assist with accounts and financial reporting
  • Support accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with imports and Exports administration
  • General administration support
  • Liaise with key external stakeholders including Revenue, banks etc.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a accounts department
  • 2 - 5 Years as accounts assistant or accounts administrator
  • A self-starter, enjoys deadlines and a busy office based role, strives for efficiency & accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, IT & people management skills
  • The candidate should ideally should have a knowledge of Sage 50,and Microsoft Office
