Are you an experienced industry based Accounts Assistant looking for a new job? Our very successful client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to manage the financial accounts in Shannon, Co Clare.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Carry out the accounts payable function
  • Supporting the team on Month end accounting
  • Supporting other finance functions across the site
  • Cost centre reporting
  • VAT reporting and filing
  • Employee expense allocation and bank reconciliations
  • Responsible for reconciling and maintaining General ledger

Qualifications

  • 2+ years working experience in an industry based Finance department
  • Proficiency in general accounting and double-entry
  • An accounting qualification
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Finance packages
