Accounts Assistant

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant (IATI or PQ ACA-ACCA-CIMA)to join their team for an 11-month contract based in South Dublin
This is a very established team working with 40+ retail partners and suppliers.

A list of duties are below - but if you have 2 years + experience working within a bust accounting function and are interested and available to start a contract position at the beginning of Aug - please apply below.

Role & Responsibility
VAT & Revenue returns
Cash flow management and forecasting
Quarterly management accounts
Preparation of year end accounts and audits, working with our external auditor
Day to day accounting processes;
Invoicing, Accounts Payable / Receivable
Lodgements / Payments , Creditor / Debtor ledger management
Bank Reconciliations
Monthly payroll management and year-end payroll processing (incl. all Revenue reporting)
Quarterly gathering of sales data from Suppliers and reporting on same
Processing of quarterly Supplier LTA charges
Processing of quarterly Store Rebates.
Overseeing of general office function
Organising events/meetings, general administration duties
Any other ad hoc duties that may arise

Proactive attitude to all areas of work
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to operate in a standalone role while working as part of a broader team is essential
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of computerised accounting packages a must
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel, Work & PowerPoint)
