Accounts Assistant
Our Client are leaders in supplying specialised chemicals to a wide range of industries. They are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant proficient in AP and AR. This is a Full-time 12 month Contract with a possibility of being Permanent all going well. This post is based in South Tipperary.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· New customer set up
· Supplier & customer updates/notifications
· Freight/clearance invoice entry & queries
· Freight out & Packaging analysis report (AP)
· Petty Cash management
· Monthly Bank Account reconciliation & journal entries
· Maintenance of creditor banking details on system
· Intrastat, VIES & EC Sales returns (UK & IE)
· Specific supplier/customer report
· Bi-monthly Irish VAT return
· Quarterly UK VAT return
· CSO returns
· Staff cover for Annual leave
· HM Custom's duty & vat (UK) entry & queries of same each month
· Irish Duty & VAT @ POE entry & queries of same each month
· Debtors credit control - including credit terms & review of credit limits
· Apply cash receipts & queries of same
· Customer statements & any customer queries
· Raising Sales invoices & debit notes entry, queries
· Weekly Sales invoices & debit notes entry, assignment to invoice discounting and reconciliation
Candidate Requirements:
· Relevant experience in Accounts payable and Receivable along with the listed duties
· Accounts qualifications preferable
· Multi-currency experience
· Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
· Experience in working with a high volume
· Ability to work on own initiative
·
Organised and motivated
