Job Overview

Full-time permanent role based in Leitrim for an Accountant working within a group Head office.

This is a hands-on broad role covering - Month, Quarter and Year End, Reconciliation, AP & AR, VAT, Payroll and GL.

Job description:
Posting of bank entries cheques, direct debits, lodgements, etc.
Preparation and posting of invoices, payroll (80 Approx) and general journals.
Month-end reconciliations for banks, debtors, creditors, payroll, vat and control accounts.
Preparation of financial reports on request.
Compiling data for Revenue returns
Other ad-hoc duties consistent with the proper performance of the above.

Key Skills
3 Years + experience in a similar role
Exceptional attention to detail
Highly organised, methodical approach to work
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Sage - an advantage
