FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Workshop Administrator – Agri.
This is a full time, permanent roles based approx 10km East of Kildare town.
The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the workshop by managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between parts and the workshop. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role is suitable to those with strong communication and administrative skills, seeking to establish their career in the Agri industry.
Hours:
Monday to Friday [8:30 – 17:30]
Rotating Saturday [8:30 – 13:00]
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the workshop team, including scheduling, data entry, and document management.
• Maintain accurate records of job cards, service reports, parts usage, and technician hours.
• Coordinate bookings for machinery servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Liaise with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and handle general inquiries.
• Monitor and update workshop calendars, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and personnel.
• Assist with warranty claim submissions and follow-ups in collaboration with the warranty coordinator.
• Track and report on workshop KPIs, including job completion times, parts usage, and technician productivity.
• Support the onboarding and training of apprentices and new workshop staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Order and manage stock levels of workshop supplies and consumables.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in an administrative or workshop support role, preferably in the agricultural or mechanical sector.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workshop management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
