Scheduling and Logistics Coordinator
Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30- Hybrid an option after probation and at manager discretion.
An established logistics company is seeking a Scheduling and Logistics Coordinator to join its operations team. This full time, permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys coordinating customer orders, delivery schedules, and documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
What you will do

Process and schedule customer orders while ensuring all details are accurate.

Upload jobs into the Transport Management System and confirm schedules with customers.

Liaise with customers to gather required documentation and maintain clear communication throughout each job.

Monitor incoming shipments and coordinate with planning teams when rescheduling is required.

Track daily delivery progress and escalate issues to management when needed.

Review delivery paperwork, issue Proof of Delivery, and record any additional costs for invoicing.

Support SHEQ requirements by reporting near misses and safety or quality concerns.

Participate in operations meetings and contribute to weekly and monthly reporting.
Skills and experience

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

Clear communication and a strong customer service approach.

Experience with Transport Management Systems and tracking tools.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.

Awareness of safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
