Technical Stores Person – Engineering Focus
We are seeking an experienced Stores Person with a strong technical background to take ownership of a busy maintenance stores function within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager and will suit someone who understands engineering parts, equipment and terminology, while also bringing proven stock control and procurement experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and control stock levels within the engineering stores

Source and procure electrical and mechanical parts as required

Log and track parts within the stores database

Maintain accurate specifications, costs and stock records

Oversee receipt, allocation and issuing of parts to the engineering and process teams

Conduct stock counts and ensure accuracy of records

Support continuous improvement within the department by identifying and implementing efficiencies
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts, terminology and specifications

Proven background in stores management, procurement and stock control
-
Confident IT user with experience in databases or stock management systems
-
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
What’s on Offer:

Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 depending on experience

Permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm)

On-site position within a well-established manufacturing business
