Are you a skilled Metal Fabricator ready to take the next step in your career? Due to continued expansion, my client are seeking a talented and experienced Fabricator to join their team in Cavan.
Join a well-established engineering company providing full-service solutions in design, precision engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance to clients across Ireland.
This is a hands-on Working Team Lead position. You’ll lead by example on the workshop floor, fabricating high-spec metal components and supervising a skilled team.
Responsibilities include:

Leading the fabrication team and overseeing daily operations

Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings

Fabricating and assembling steel and metal structures
-
Operating machinery: press brakes, rollers, guillotines, etc.

Welding using MIG, TIG, and Arc processes

Ensuring quality control and accurate completion of job cards

Enforcing health and safety standards

Supporting Lean operations and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in metal fabrication

Proven leadership or supervisory experience

Strong skills in MIG & TIG welding

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery

High attention to detail and a commitment to quality

40-hour work week:
-
Monday–Thursday: 07:00–16:00

Friday: 07:00–14:30 (early finish!)
