Support Pharmacist: Co. Kerry
Our client is seeking an experienced Support Pharmacist
Six-month Maternity Leave Contract beginning October 1st 2025.
The role involves three 9-hour days per week, usually on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

As part of our experienced team, the Support Pharmacist will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our busy dispensary.
The main duties of this role include:
- To operate the dispensary, following all the legal responsibilities of the profession of pharmacy.
- To exercise all aspects of law, ethics and codes of practice as set out by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- To ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
- To interact with other health professionals & work as part of a pharmacy team (dispensary, retail & online).
- To support the Superintendent Pharmacist & Pharmacy Owners in following up on the claims rejected.
- Any other projects and duties that arise.
The successful candidate will:
- Have great business acumen & be customer-focused
- Be highly organised & able to work under pressure & as part of a team
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have an understanding of effective budget & stock management.
- Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.
Essential Criteria
Knowledge and Experience required:
- Must hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
- Ability to deal with high-volume dispensing
