My client,a well-established engineering consultancy with nearly 30 years of experience, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Ballincollig, Co. Cork. This is a full-time, permanent role offering involvement in a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial, retail, hotel, educational, and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects through all stages — from initial design to construction — while collaborating with clients, contractors, and design teams.
Key Requirements:

3+ years’ experience in structural or civil engineering

Strong understanding of structural systems and detailing for buildings and infrastructure

Experience with drainage, utilities, and SUDS design is an advantage
-
Familiarity with Irish planning processes and DMURS standards
-
Confident preparing reports (e.g. infrastructure, drainage, flood risk assessments)

Engineers Ireland membership and a desire to pursue Chartered status

Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
-
Full clean Irish driving licence
