Staff Grade Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Services

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Grade Occupational Therapist
to join a multidisciplinary team providing person-centred mental health services. This role involves working with adults experiencing acute and enduring mental health difficulties, delivering assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation in line with best practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

Provide individual and group interventions to promote recovery, daily living skills, and community reintegration.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support holistic care planning.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and service standards.

Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
-
CORU registration (or eligibility for same).

Experience working in a mental health setting (placement or post-qualification).

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:

Post-qualification experience in adult mental health.

Group facilitation experience.

Training in specialist therapeutic approaches relevant to mental health.
