Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to consistent high standards.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Assist in the development and preparation of new menu items.
- Ensure that food safety and allergen procedures are always followed.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation of supplies.
- Support and train junior kitchen staff when required.
- Comply with all health, safety, and HACCP requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and flair in food preparation and presentation.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
