About the Opportunity

They are seeking a creative, highly organised, and motivated Social Media, Marketing & Community Engagement Executive to join their team. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone passionate about marketing, storytelling, community engagement, and making a positive social impact.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting the organisation's services, programmes, employment opportunities, and commercial activities. They will help strengthen the organisation's digital presence, engage stakeholders, support recruitment initiatives, and contribute to day-to-day administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging content that highlights programmes, services, community impact, and enterprise activities.
  • Design marketing materials using Canva and similar digital tools.
  • Maintain and update the organisation's website, ensuring content remains current and engaging.
  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns to increase awareness of services and employment opportunities.
  • Produce newsletters, press releases, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor and report on social media and marketing performance metrics.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and participant engagement initiatives.
  • Liaise with employment services, community groups, and referral agencies to promote opportunities.
  • Assist in organising recruitment events, information sessions, and outreach activities.
  • Promote commercial services and enterprise activities through digital marketing and community engagement campaigns.
  • Provide general administrative support across the organisation.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and internal communications as required.
  • Support the coordination of events, training programmes, and community initiatives.
  • Assist with office administration and organisational projects.

About You

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing, communications, social media, community engagement, or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong content creation and social media management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Genuine interest in community development, social inclusion, and supporting people into employment.

Desirable

  • Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, and similar marketing platforms.
  • Experience managing websites through WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Photography, videography, and graphic design skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing trends, and analytics tools.
