My client, a reputable and long-established main contractor with a strong presence in Cork and nationwide, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality construction projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Set out works according to project drawings, specifications, and engineering standards
-
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily site engineering activities

Work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery

Conduct site surveys, maintain as-built records, and prepare accurate site reports
-
Interpret technical drawings, manage materials, and ensure works align with project design requirements

Liaise with subcontractors, design teams, and client representatives to ensure smooth communication and progress

Monitor site works to ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and quality standards

Maintain accurate documentation, records, and ensure compliance with company procedures
Key Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
-
Minimum 2–3 years’ site-based engineering experience (main contractor experience advantageous)

Proficient in setting out, surveying, and interpreting technical drawings

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and Irish Health & Safety regulations
-
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
-
Strong IT proficiency (MS Office, CAD, survey equipment)

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work to programme deadlines

Full clean driving licence essential
