The Role
As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery — ensuring works are set out accurately, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating site activities effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:

Setting out the works and ensuring information is clearly communicated to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.

Reviewing drawings and specifications to guarantee accuracy and compliance.

Conducting quality reviews on site, particularly regarding rebar and concrete placement.

Overseeing technical submissions and concrete testing.
-
Preparing technical method statements and assisting with traffic management on a busy site.

Keeping accurate site diaries and records of daily activities.
-
Promoting a safe working environment and adherence to HSE standards.

Contributing to the ongoing improvement and efficiency of site operations.
About You

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar).

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer.

Background with a main contractor, subcontractor, or surveying firm is advantageous.

Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Experience managing traffic and logistics on complex or urban projects.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
