FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Service Support Administrator on behalf of our Client based on the South Carlow/Kilkenny border.

This role is central to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the office. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across customer service, finance, engineering support, and reporting functions while contributing to a positive and professional customer experience.

Hours:

  • Office Based, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 [possible 1 day WFH following probation]

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Process customer orders received via telephone and other communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, records, and activity within the CRM system.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, cash collection and support general financial administration.
  • Prepare and process customer and engineering-related invoicing.
  • Coordinate customer and engineer follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution of queries and service requests.
  • Provide administrative support to management and wider team members as required.
  • Support efficient, compliant, and effective office operations.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports and performance updates.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, training sessions, and other administrative activities.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all aspects of the role.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • High levels of motivation, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of farming, agriculture, or farm machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, and company events.
