An established Construction Supplies business in the North Galway area is looking to recruit a ‘Senior Yard Operative’ on a permanent basis.
Job location
- Galway (May also suit candidates in Galway bordering towns of Roscommon)
Working hours
- 9 to 5.30 ( Please note Saturday work involved
)
Hourly rate
– DOE, Competitive hourly rate on offer
Duties to include
- Loading and unloading lorries using forklift
- Monitoring goods in and goods out
- Responsible for the general up keep of the yard
- Monitor stock levels
- Moving and driving of machinery
- Assisting customers in the yard area
- Data inputting & Record keeping
- Deliveries
Candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of DIY, Construction supplies
- Forklift driving experience would be an advantage
- Trailer License an advantage
- Previous experience in working in an Construction Supplies store would be an advantage
- Able to work on own initiative
- Strong attention to detail
