We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join a dynamic team in Cork. You will take ownership of system reliability, performance, and protection across critical services.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the operational management of hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure & on-prem)..

Deliver high availability and robust security across servers, networking, backups, and M365.

Oversee patching, hardening, identity management, DR/BCP and incident response.

Collaborate cross-functionally to support ongoing business operations and future initiatives.

Engage with external vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes in infrastructure and security.

Influence IT strategy, standards, and procurement decisions.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience mentoring or leading others in a technical capacity.

Deep hands-on experience in systems administration, especially in hybrid environments.

Strong technical background across Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and M365.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including backup, DR, and threat mitigation.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Vendor engagement experience or exposure to procurement processes is advantageous.
