Role Overview:
The Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in ensuring technical excellence across project delivery, supporting the Site Manager and wider team with setting out, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and design interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:

Set out the works accurately and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on-site

Support quality assurance and ensure works are carried out to the highest standard

Maintain site records including RFI registers, inspections, and as-built documentation

Liaise with the design team to resolve technical queries and implement design changes

Assist with health & safety compliance, inductions, and site audits

Mentor junior engineers and support site leadership
Requirements:
-
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
-
5+ years’ site engineering experience on large-scale building projects in Ireland
-
Strong setting-out and surveying skills (GPS, total station, levelling)

Knowledge of BCAR, Irish Building Regulations, and current codes of practice

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities
-
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant site reporting tools
