Position: Senior Project Controls Manager
Location: Longford, Ireland
Reports to: Directors
A leading construction and engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to oversee the governance of all project schedules, costs, and forecasts across its portfolio. This senior role will lead the Planning Team and provide clear visibility of project performance to senior leadership, ensuring profitability, accuracy, and accountability across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage governance frameworks for project schedules, costs, and profitability.
- Consolidate project data and produce clear performance reports for leadership.
- Lead and develop the Planning Team, driving best practice in planning and forecasting.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and variances, partnering with finance and commercial teams.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Champion digital tools and systems that enhance project controls and reporting.
Requirements
- 8+ year's experience in program, project, or controls management within construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Proven ability to manage costs, budgets, and forecasts.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Commercially astute and digitally minded, with a proactive approach.
