I am seeking a Senior Planner to join my client and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of finished products.

The Role
As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of strategic planning activities across APIs, starting materials, and finished products. You will work closely with global supply chain colleagues, manufacturing sites, and quality teams to deliver robust, compliant, and efficient planning processes that support business continuity and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning of strategic APIs and finished products, ensuring appropriate stock levels and safety stock.
- Analyse and manage MPS and MRP reports, mitigating risks and providing timely updates to management.
- Ensure regulatory compliance of materials and products through close monitoring of databases.
- Collaborate with corporate supply chain and manufacturing partners, providing accurate forecasts for capacity planning.
- Optimise planning processes using SAP APO, MDM, and other key systems, driving continuous improvement.
- Support and mentor the planning team, fostering knowledge-sharing and cross-training.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, contributing to audit readiness and process excellence.

You will bring strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex data and work effectively across cross-functional and international teams. You thrive on solving problems, improving processes, and delivering high-quality results in a highly regulated environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years’ planning experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven expertise with SAP ERP and SAP APO (or equivalent).
- Strong IT skills and advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience interpreting and analysing data, identifying trends, and implementing solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work confidently with stakeholders across functions and cultures.
