Senior Physiotherapist – Childrens Disability Services

Permanent Part-Time (31.5 hours per week)
Location: East Limerick Area

Are you a passionate Senior Physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families? We are currently seeking an experienced clinician to join a well-established interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, child-centred physiotherapy services within a community-based setting.

The Role

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver physiotherapy assessments and interventions to children with complex needs, including physical disabilities, developmental delays, and sensory-motor challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to best-practice early intervention and school-age services, working in partnership with families, caregivers, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical physiotherapy services to a paediatric caseload

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and implement individualised treatment plans

  • Collaborate with families, schools, and team members to support functional goals

  • Supervise junior staff and contribute to service development, training, and quality initiatives

  • Maintain accurate, professional documentation in line with regulatory standards

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy

  • CORU registration as a Physiotherapist

  • Minimum 3 year's post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in paediatric or disability services

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative MDT

  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

  • Full driving licence and access to a car
