Key Responsibilities

Deliver a high-quality Occupational Therapy service, ensuring best practice and alignment with CORU standards.

Complete comprehensive assessments and implement tailored intervention plans to enhance independence, function, and quality of life.

Conduct physical, sensory, and functional assessments, including risk assessments as required.

Provide training and guidance to families, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic strategies and assistive equipment use.

Maintain accurate, professional documentation in line with clinical governance and GDPR.

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centred care.

Contribute to service planning, development, and clinical reporting.
Candidate Profile
-
CORU-registered (or eligible for registration) Occupational Therapist.
-
Minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience (for Consultant) or relevant experience at Senior level.

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by a recognised professional body.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
-
A genuine interest in supporting individuals with ASD and ID.

Confidence in clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and planning client-centred interventions.

Motivation to maintain the highest professional standards and engage in continuous development.

Garda Vetting (renewed every three years).
