We’re delighted to be recruiting for two fantastic opportunities with a supportive multidisciplinary team based just outside Mullingar, Co. Westmeath:

  • 🌿 Consultant Occupational Therapist (Locum Contract)

  • 🌿 Senior Occupational Therapist (Permanent Role)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality Occupational Therapy service, ensuring best practice and alignment with CORU standards.

  • Complete comprehensive assessments and implement tailored intervention plans to enhance independence, function, and quality of life.

  • Conduct physical, sensory, and functional assessments, including risk assessments as required.

  • Provide training and guidance to families, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic strategies and assistive equipment use.

  • Maintain accurate, professional documentation in line with clinical governance and GDPR.

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centred care.

  • Contribute to service planning, development, and clinical reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • CORU-registered (or eligible for registration) Occupational Therapist.

  • Minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience (for Consultant) or relevant experience at Senior level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by a recognised professional body.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.

  • A genuine interest in supporting individuals with ASD and ID.

  • Confidence in clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and planning client-centred interventions.

  • Motivation to maintain the highest professional standards and engage in continuous development.

  • Garda Vetting (renewed every three years).
