Senior Design Engineer – Co. Galway
I am working with a well-established manufacturer in Galway who are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team. This role will suit an experienced engineer who enjoys taking ownership of the full design lifecycle, from concept to production and wants to play a key part in developing new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product design and development projects from concept to commercialisation
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and specifications
- Develop creative solutions that meet project briefs and market requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering (or related discipline)
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong 3D modelling skills (Autodesk Inventor desirable)
- Experience in product design, assembly, and design for manufacture
- Knowledge of machine design or automation an advantage
- Strong communication and project delivery skills
