We are seeking a Senior Cardiac Physiologist for our client based in South Mayo. This is a full-time role based in an Integrated Care/ Chronic Disease Hub. The primary purpose of this post is to be responsible for providing a high quality, patient-focused echocardiography service for GP-referred patients in the integrated care hub, under the clinical and governance framework of Cardiology Services
The Senior Cardiac Physiologist will also support cardiac investigations and interventions in and will be expected to work as part of the Integrated Care Cardiology Team. The post holder will also be expected to perform all cardiac investigations or other duties deemed appropriate to their position, coupled with supporting the Chief II Physiologist in providing and developing a busy service
Requirements:
- Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement and/ or possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
- IICMP Registration
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years fulltime) relevant post qualification experience.
- Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
