We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our client on a contract basis for an initial 16 month period. This is a key leadership role reporting to the General Manager and responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements in line with accounting standards
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage cash flow and optimise working capital
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Supervise and mentor finance team members
- Drive process improvements and implement financial technology solutions
Qualifications & Skills:
- ACCA, CPA, or CIMA Qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Ability to communicate and present financial accounts and analysis to all levels of stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience in a finance function
