The Role

My client, a health & medical service provider is seeking an experience and dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work model after probation.

As the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading the company’s commercial growth function including developing strategy, generating qualified leads, expanding into new markets and driving client acquisition.

Tasks & Duties

  • Define and lead the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy, including positioning, value proposition, target markets, and multi-channel go-to-market plans.
  • Build and present comprehensive commercial strategies to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regional growth initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify untapped sectors, white-space opportunities, and strategic growth pathways.
  • Deliver 3–6 month white-space mapping plans, prioritising target segments and outlining actionable strategies for new client acquisition and sector expansion.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline, including lead targeting, outreach, nurturing, qualification, and follow-up to maximise conversion.
  • Design and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, paid media, content, events, field marketing) to generate qualified leads and drive new sector penetration.
  • Develop compelling marketing assets, proposals, case studies, tender documentation, and sector-specific content, collaborating with internal experts to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Plan and execute conferences, seminars, corporate outreach, and HR-targeted events from concept to post-event reporting, optimising lead generation and engagement.
  • Support pre-sales processes by preparing marketing materials, proposals, presentations, capability statements, and process documentation to enhance bid success and win rates.
  • Implement and manage CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms, creating automated workflows for lead scoring, nurturing, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyse campaign and pipeline performance, provide data-driven insights, and regularly report to senior leadership on trends, ROI, and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams - including operations, clinical, and finance - to ensure service readiness, pricing accuracy, capacity planning, and consistent execution across locations.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years in marketing, demand generation, business development, or growth roles, with demonstrated success in building integrated strategies from scratch.
  • Track record of identifying and opening new sectors, driving untapped market opportunities and strategic expansion.
  • Skilled at engaging senior and C-suite stakeholders, building credibility, and influencing decision-making.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, taking ownership, and driving initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision.
  • Balances high-level strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven approach with commercial insight, able to track KPIs, assess performance, and inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of crafting clear messaging, proposals, and compelling presentations.
  • Experienced managing campaigns, events, outreach, and client engagements across SMEs, large corporates, and public-sector organisations to deliver results.
