Our Client is a well-established farmer owned business that delivers cost effective purchasing of farm inputs to benefit its farming members. Due to continued success, resulting in an internal expansion programme, the Client is now recruiting for the role of Sales Advisor based out of their Wexford office. This is a full time, permanent role suitable to those with strong agri knowledge, relevant experience and preferably an agri qualification. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career within the farm services area, while being part of an experienced team.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Talking to members that require a large range of livestock farming products and giving advice on options that are cost effective.
• Receiving incoming calls and making outgoing call to members.
• Achieving sales targets.
• Supporting existing staff in coordinating orders.
• Training in the use of the IT system, which manage the ordering process.
• Contributing ideas to the marketing department on weekly promotions.
Candidate Profile:
• Detailed knowledge of dairy farming systems and practices.
• Preferable a 3rd level agricultural science qualification.
• Persistence and a “can do” attitude.
• Positive outlook in business situations.
• Administration skills and IT familiarity.
• Strong people skills.
• A personal ambition to develop their own career within agricultural services .
