FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Ruminant Sales Manager whom will be based in the US on behalf of a leading Irish agribusiness.
Our client is one of Ireland’s leading providers of brewery & distillery co-products as well as highly nutritious moist and liquid livestock feeds. Over the past 25 years they have built strong business relationships with food, beverage and ethanol industries.
Over the past 6 years our client has built a very strong presence in the Wisconsin region of the US.
As the company continues to grow we are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial remote Ruminant Sales Manager to spearhead the sales operations across central and southern Wisconsin.
This is a hands-on role for a strong closer and relationship builder who can independently lead the sales process from prospecting through to delivery. You’ll represent the business on the ground, cultivate direct relationships with producers and their nutrition consultants, and shape our regional go-to-market strategy.

Duties to include
- Lead sales efforts throughout Wisconsin, focusing on dairy and beef producers.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with farmers and key industry players.
- Drive revenue growth by developing new business, expanding current accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Deliver on-farm consultations and present tailored feed solutions to customers.
- Educate farmers on the value proposition of our by-product-based feed solutions.
- Work closely with logistics and operations to ensure smooth product delivery and service excellence.
- Represent the bsuiness at agricultural trade shows and local events, building brand awareness and trust.
- Provide market insights to leadership, contributing to pricing and product strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and stay informed on competitive activity in the Midwest feed market.
Experience required
- 5+ years of on-farm feed sales experience, ideally in the dairy or beef sectors.
- Proven track record of independent sales success and territory growth.
- Solid understanding of animal nutrition, feed products, and agricultural sales cycles.
- Self-starter with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing your own schedule and priorities in a field-based, high-autonomy role.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the state
