A highly regarded Irish commercial law firm is seeking a proactive and experienced Risk and Compliance Executive to join its in-house team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a senior leadership team in a collaborative and supportive environment, contributing to a robust culture of compliance and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Compliance & Risk Manager in maintaining firm-wide compliance with regulatory obligations and internal frameworks.

  • Manage personal data records and provide day-to-day support on GDPR and data protection matters.

  • Assist in the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Compliance and Risk Framework.

  • Conduct compliance monitoring and risk reviews; assist with reporting to senior management and boards.

  • Support internal training initiatives and help promote a strong culture of compliance.

  • Perform onboarding checks, including AML/CDD, and set up clients in relevant systems.

  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the professional services sector (e.g., AML/CFT, GDPR, Solicitors Acts, LSRA).

  • Conduct due diligence on suppliers, processors, and third-party service providers.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a compliance or risk management role, ideally within a law firm or regulated professional services environment.

  • LCI-qualified or actively pursuing a Professional Diploma in Compliance (or equivalent).

  • Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, data protection, and legal regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
