Experienced Restaurant Manager - Co. Roscommon

Are you a proactive and experienced Restaurant Manager with a zest for your job and a desire for perfection? I am seeking someone like you to join a dedicated team at a family-run, award-winning restaurant located in County Roscommon.

It's a busy and rewarding position overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You’ll work closely with the Director to ensure a seamless guest experience and the highest standards of service. You will need to hit the ground running, so solid previous experience is essential.

You’ll be joining a happy team with a great attitude to work in a bustling town with a great atmosphere and community spirit. If you’re relocating to Roscommon, we can offer short-term temporary accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service at all times
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and coordinate staffing schedules
  • Manage stock control and ordering processes
  • Plan and implement efficient staff rosters with an emphasis on job rotation and team flexibility
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP standards and maintain high levels of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals
  • Collaborate with the operations and reservations teams to ensure smooth service
  • Engage with key guests and clients to maintain strong relationships and service excellence

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a restaurant management role with a successful track record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of the food and hospitality industry
