Regional Service Manager– Addiction and Homeless service, Midlands –Midlands- €56,0000-€70,000 DOE
Job Opportunity: Permanent full time
Location: Midlands
Hours: 39 hours per week
Are you a dedicated Social Care Manager who has experience in working with individuals in need? Have you been a PIC or Service Manager before? Are you seeking a rewarding career in a well-established homeless and drug service? The main objective of this role is to provide evidence-based support for families and individuals in the midlands Regions affected by familial drug use.
The Regional Service Manager will:

- Have management responsibility for teams across various locations in the region.
- Lead the development of new and innovative responses to service users’ needs in the region.
- Be the primary point of contact for regional and local funders with responsibility for seeking new funding opportunities.
- Be responsible for budgetary management and controls for all services in the region.
- Ensure all health & safety requirements are up to standard and monitored.
- Manage buildings, vehicles and equipment to deliver the regional services
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care/Social Studies, Counselling, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising and managing a team in a community, addiction service or similar setting
- frontline experience in addiction-related services or family support.
- An understanding of the complex issues relating to substance misuse and mental health and the delivery of trauma informed service
- Knowledge of family programs
- Understanding of National Drug & Alcohol Strategy and National Drug Rehabilitation Framework.
- Full clean driver’s license.
- Knowledge of evidence-based family support approaches
