We are seeking a visionary Regional Manager for a leading public sector body.

This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape the future of Dublin’s vibrant spaces for communities, businesses, and visitors. You will also play a key role in delivering the Dublin Development Strategy.

  • Strategic Impact: Lead the growth and development of Dublin’s thriving public spaces.
  • Leadership Role: Manage and inspire a diverse team of 37 professional, technical, administrative, and operational staff.
  • Community Focus: Partner with local authorities, public bodies, and community groups to create lasting social and recreational benefits.
  • Career Growth: Be part of the Senior Management Team and contribute to national strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive recreational growth and community engagement to enhance social, health, and economic benefits for local communities.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver the Dublin Development Strategy and align regional planning with corporate objectives.
  • Build partnerships and funding opportunities to support capital projects and enhance public spaces.
  • Champion Health & Safety governance, ensuring best practices are embedded across all operations.
  • Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and succession planning for the region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, public representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead, motivate, and support your team, creating a positive working environment with opportunities for staff development.
