The Role
An opportunity has arisen for experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians to join a leading nationwide contractor within both the service/maintenance and installation/projects departments.
The role involves carrying out field service activities including installation, maintenance, service, and repair of commercial Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump systems across a wide range of client sites. These include supermarkets, retail, hospitality, educational, medical, and office environments.
Key Responsibilities

Installation, service, and repair of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump systems.

Routine maintenance and fault diagnosis.
-
Support and mentoring of apprentices.
-
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
-
Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Skills & Experience
-
Strong technical expertise with proven fault-finding skills.
-
Broad experience across refrigeration and HVAC systems.
-
“First-fix” mindset and problem-solving ability.
-
Knowledge of BMS and control systems.
-
Electrical and mechanical experience with good electronics awareness.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Experience training or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
Qualifications
-
City & Guilds / NVQ / FETAC in Refrigeration or equivalent.
-
F-Gas 2078/2079 certified.
-
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
-
Full, valid driving licence.
