Our client, a leading food processing company based in the Cork city area, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their growing team.
Do you have:
• A Food Science or related qualification?
• 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Manager in a food facility in Ireland?
• Proven experience in team management and quality management systems?
If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team, ensuring it is well-organized, fully trained, and equipped to achieve plant and departmental goals.
• Maintain, improve, and develop systems to support the company’s food safety programs.
• Ensure full compliance with Irish and EU regulations.
• Oversee internal audits and assist in implementing corrective actions when required.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Innovation teams to manage supplier quality and compliance.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates, keeping the company ahead of emerging standards.
• Implement and maintain quality standards across the site.
• Act as the lead for quality during customer audits and technical visits.
