Quality Engineering Manager – Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Quality professional with a passion for driving excellence in manufacturing? We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to join a fast-paced production environment.
This is a senior position reporting directly to the Plant Manager, with responsibility for leading the Quality function and managing a small team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and delivering outstanding product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Quality team, including Quality Assistant & Returns Technician.

Maintain, improve, and develop the Quality Management System (QMS).

Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions on customer complaints.

Champion product and process quality improvements across the site.

Manage internal audits and drive external audits with customers and notified bodies.

Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.

Deliver detailed reports on quality performance and compliance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to embed quality throughout all processes.

Support training and development in quality standards across the site.
About You
-
Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical field.

At least 3 years in a senior Quality role within manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO9001:2015, ISO17025, ISO14001, and ATEX certification requirements.

Proven experience in leading audits and engaging with notified bodies.

Proficiency in quality control systems, data analysis, and inspection processes.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Lean Six Sigma and Lead Auditor certifications (preferred).

Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
