Quality Assurance Technician
A well-established manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team in Limerick. This is a hands-on role supporting both new and existing production lines in a fast-paced environment.
This role would suit someone who has worked in a production environment, had some involvement in quality, and is now looking to take a step up into a full-time quality role.
The Role:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QA Technician will play a vital role in maintaining and improving product quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with internal processes and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on products
- Carry out routine and non-routine quality checks
- Use measurement tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Identify, document, and support resolution of quality issues
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Review and maintain quality documentation in line with ISO standards
- Support audits and continuous improvement activities
- Oversee lab equipment calibration and QC analysis of raw materials
- Promote a clean, safe working environment in line with health & safety policy
What You’ll Need:
- Level 6 qualification in Quality Assurance (or related)
- 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Exposure to quality systems, procedures, and tools
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
