Overview:
Our client, is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join a dynamic legal team on a full-time temporary contract. This role focuses on supporting a broad range of property transactions and legal matters related to land, title, and commercial agreements. It's an excellent opportunity for a proactive solicitor with a strong background in conveyancing and rural property law, who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Property & Title Work

Manage the legal aspects of property purchases, sales, and associated transactions.

Draft contracts, transfers, rights of way, wayleaves, licences, and deeds.

Conduct title due diligence and manage applications for property registration.

Prepare and submit first registration applications and address complex title issues.

Advise on boundary disputes, rights of way, and other land-related legal matters.

Work closely with title researchers to ensure accurate and up-to-date property records.
Legal Advice & Commercial Support

Draft and review commercial agreements and provide legal support during negotiations.

Advise on legal matters relating to property acquisitions.

Provide timely and practical legal guidance to internal teams.

Coordinate with external legal advisors when necessary.
Governance & Compliance

Support best practice in legal risk management and compliance.

Ensure alignment with internal governance standards and legal frameworks.
Skills & Experience Required:

Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.

Strong expertise in property law and conveyancing, particularly rural/agricultural property.

Excellent drafting and transaction management skills.

Ability to manage a high volume of legal work independently.

Comfortable working with maps and land documentation.

Proficient in legal case management systems and standard office ICT tools.

Experience with broader commercial legal matters is a plus.
