About the Role
Our client, a well-established specialist roofing contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee roofing projects in Galway and the wider West of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to join a professional and fast-growing construction contractor.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of roofing projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Lead and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors.

Monitoring, detailing, and quality control across all roofing systems, particularly flat roofing.

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures; carry out site inductions and toolbox talks.

Maintain accurate safety and project documentation.

Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal management teams.

Order and manage materials efficiently.

Provide technical guidance and resolve installation challenges.

Prepare progress reports and maintain strong communication across all levels.

Perform hands-on duties on site when required (role requires good physical fitness).
Requirements

At least 5 year's experience in roofing site or project management.

Strong knowledge of flat roofing and traditional roofing systems.

Excellent understanding of Health & Safety compliance and documentation.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Ability to read drawings and coordinate technical details.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Full clean driving licence and own transport (essential).

Must supply own tools.

Flexibility to travel to additional sites across the West of Ireland after the Galway project.
