Our client, a leading business in the agri-food sector, is seeking an accomplished Group Projects Manager to join their senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for the planning and delivery of large-scale capital projects across factories, farms, and support operations.

You will be directly involved in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives that underpin the group’s long-term growth. Working at board level, you will provide leadership across multiple disciplines and ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and delivery of multi-site capital and development projects.

• Develop robust business cases and CAPEX proposals, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic goals.

• Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and risk to deliver projects on time and within scope.

• Coordinate and engage with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

• Provide clear reporting and visibility of project performance to the Board and senior leadership team.

• Drive improvements in project management processes and mentor managers across the group.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering(Civil, Mechanical, Process, or related discipline) with a recognised Project Management qualification.

• Minimum 10 years’ professional experience, including 4+ years in a senior project management role within food, agriculture, engineering, or construction.

• Proven record of delivering complex, multi-site projects on time and within budget.

• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate at Board and CEO level.

• Skilled in project management software and confident in KPI reporting and analysis.
