Group Project Manager – Agri / Food Sector
Location: Offaly, Ireland
We’re looking for an experienced Group Project Manager to take on a senior role within a leading agri-food business. This person will be part of the senior management team, driving projects that support the company’s strategy and future growth. The role will involve managing large-scale capital projects across multiple sites, covering factories and farms, and working closely with leadership to deliver real impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the design and delivery of major development and capital projects.
- Preparing business cases and CAPEX proposals, from concept through to approval.
- Planning projects from start to finish: budgets, timelines, resources, and KPIs.
- Coordinating teams, contractors, and consultants to deliver on time and within budget.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring project outcomes meet expectations.
- Overseeing multiple projects at once, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are met.
- Driving improvements in project management processes and mentoring managers in best practices.
- Creating clear reporting tools and dashboards to keep leadership up to speed on progress.
- Supporting wider business growth by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Process, or related) with Project Management qualifications.
- At least 10 years’ experience, including 4+ years in project management within food, agriculture, engineering, or construction.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communicator who can work at senior leadership and board level.
- Comfortable managing diverse teams, multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities.
- Skilled in project management software and confident working with data and KPIs.
- Problem solver, proactive, and able to adapt to changing demands.
